about the artist

Hi there! As you’ve probably gathered, i am Alysha of “Alysha Desiree Artistry LLC”. I started my brand back in 2011 while i was in my first year of college for my degree in Criminal Justice. I quickly realized criminal justice wasn’t what i wanted to do, I loved makeup, i loved getting to be creative and challenging my artistic side, this is what i wanted to wake up doing the rest of my life.

A short time later I had a heart to heart with myself and realized college was not for me, beauty was and a new city with possibilities was. I started focusing on doing everything i could to get to New York. The city of dreams, that’s where i wanted to be. I mean after all, Frank Sinatra said it best, “if i can make it there, i’ll make it anywhere.” right?. So fast forward past the next 6 years of hustle and bustle, training and assisting, working any makeup job i could get, i finally got to a place where i was doing well, working on movies, NYFW, celebrity clients, print work and lots of weddings, i loved it! Then Covid hit. After that I made the move back to my home state of Florida to be close to my family. Here we are now! 2023! I am now based in Lakeland and travel all over including destinations! I feel what you need to know most about me is I put my heart into everything i do. I am passionate about providing quality services to my clients and making everyone’s dream look a reality! Whether it be a monster from their favorite movie or a Queen on their wedding day. I constantly educate and practice because trends change and you can never stop learning, Thank you so much for your time spent here on my site.
